Our promises What to expect from a legal recruiter. Hold us to it.

Most people have a story about a recruiter who went quiet, sent a CV without asking or would not say which firm it was. These are the promises we make, so that story is never about us.

In short

We name the firm before we send a CV, never send it without your yes, and put the pay band on every advert. For firms, we give a written market read, agree terms in writing and send fewer names, each with a note.

To lawyers.

  • We name the firm before we send your CV.

  • Your CV goes nowhere without your yes.

Firm by firm, and you see exactly what is sent.

  • We format your CV, and we do not change what it says.

We put it into our house style, using AI software. We do not add or remove anything unless you ask us to.

  • You get the pay band before you apply.

It is on every advert. If a role has no band, we ask the firm for one before we ring you.

  • We ask your salary because firms expect it, never to cap an offer.

We also ask what you want and what you will not accept, then negotiate up from there.

  • We aim to reply, including when the answer is no.

A short, honest email. We do not go quiet.

  • We keep you informed, and we chase feedback after every interview.

You hear from us at every stage, and we aim to bring back feedback after each interview so you can improve.

  • No exclusivity forms, no pressure.

You are free to talk to other recruiters. We would rather earn the placement.

  • We agree how you want to be contacted.

A message to fix a time first. No call out of the blue unless you have asked for one.

  • If staying is the better call, we say so.

Plenty of people stay. A clearer view of your market value is a good result too.

  • It costs you nothing, ever.

    Firms pay us.

To firms.

  • A market read in writing, before you pay for anything.

Whether the people exist, what they cost and how long it takes. If the answer is bad news, you hear it first.

  • Terms in writing before we send a CV.

Agreed at the discovery meeting, so there are no surprises later.

  • Fewer names, each with a note.

Why this person, for this role.

  • One named recruiter, start to finish.

From the first call to the day the new starter is at their desk.

  • We tell you early when something wobbles.

A counter-offer, a long notice period, a candidate who has gone cold. You hear it from us, not from an empty chair.

  • A candidate is named to you only with their yes.

And they know which firms we have spoken to on their behalf.
