Why do we recruit area by area?
Legal recruitment is not one market. A conveyancing fee earner, a private client partner and a property litigation associate sit in different markets, with different pay, different supervision and different reasons to move. We recruit area by area so the person on the phone knows which one you are in.
Conveyancing and property is where our record runs deepest. The same standard applies to every area we place in, and we say so plainly when a role is outside what we do well.
Questions about legal recruitment.
Straight answers.
What is a legal recruiter?
A legal recruiter finds lawyers for law firms, and finds roles for lawyers. A specialist legal recruiter knows the practice areas, the pay and how firms are supervised and structured, so the conversation starts at the role, not the job title.
How do I choose a legal recruitment agency?
Ask who will answer the phone, whether they send CVs without asking the candidate, how they screen, and what happens if the hire leaves. A good agency answers all four before you ask for anything. Our screening standard is published, and terms are agreed in writing before any CV is sent.
Which areas of law do you recruit in?
Conveyancing, development and new build, commercial property and real estate, private client, real estate and property litigation, and housing and regeneration, plus corporate and commercial and the wider legal market.
Do you recruit across the UK?
Yes. Our clients and candidates are across England and Wales, and we place remote and hybrid roles as well as office-based ones.
