- £50,000–£58,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid working — 2–3 days in the office
Lead a conveyancing team without having to carry your own caseload.
This Residential Conveyancing Team Leader role gives you time to focus on the people you manage: supporting their development, helping with technical queries and keeping the team working effectively. If you enjoy handling transactions and want to keep your hand in, you can choose to retain some files. You will also handle technical or complaint files whilst coaching the team members so they can do so in the future.
You’ll join a national conveyancing practice with dedicated operational support, management development and a team set to grow as you settle into the role.
What’s different about this role
Time to focus on leading
There’s no requirement to run a personal caseload alongside your management responsibilities. You can give colleagues your attention without having your own transactions competing for it, while retaining the option to handle files if you wish.
A team you can grow with
You’ll initially manage a small team of 4, with plans to expand it once you’re established up to 10. That gives you time to get to know the people and processes before taking on broader management responsibility.
Practical support around your team
Dedicated teams support onboarding, AML, completions and post-completion, with title-checking support also available. This reduces the administrative work sitting with conveyancers and gives you specialist colleagues to work with when resolving issues.
A sustainable approach to conveyancing
The practice operates capped caseloads and is tech enabled. As a team leader, you’ll be working within a structure designed to keep workloads manageable and maintain client service.
Support for your own development
Professional study support and management development programmes give you opportunities to build your leadership skills. Candidates expecting to qualify within the next 6–12 months are welcome to apply.
Flexibility / support for working parents
This firm allows flexible start and finish times as well as enhanced maternity / paternity, sick pay, private healthcare and life assurance so you are covered from all angles.
